Manager, Sourcing & Procurement (Defence), Supply Chain and Network Operations

Overview

In this Manager role, you drive complex Defence procurement initiatives from strategy through delivery, helping clients transform procurement operations. You’ll work within a cross-functional Defence team to shape high-value projects and build trusted client relationships. The role blends advisory, pipeline development, and mentoring to grow the Defence Sourcing & Procurement practice. You’ll contribute to bold public-sector objectives while delivering measurable impact in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Defence procurement projects from strategy to execution
• Advise on transforming procurement functions for efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor
• Contribute to business development, including proposals and market analysis
• Mentor and develop junior team members and foster a collaborative environment
• Support development of Defence Sourcing and Procurement teams

Key requirements

• Valid SC (Security Check) clearance
• Strong track record in Defence procurement or procurement transformation
• Public sector procurement project delivery experience, with Defence knowledge
• Experience in transforming procurement functions (people, processes, technology)
• Experience responding to Defence opportunities/tenders
• Ability to articulate complex ideas to all levels and lead stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills in collaborative environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
