Overview

In this Recruiter role at Datadog you will lead full‑cycle recruiting, acting as the face of the function and shaping the candidate experience. You’ll partner with leadership to streamline interviews, close great talent, and continuously improve our hiring process in a hybrid, collaboration‑driven culture. You help Datadog attract top talent to fuel rapid growth and technology leadership. This role offers meaningful impact by shaping how we tell the Datadog story to candidates and new hires.

Responsibilities

• Source qualified talent via sourcing, job posts, referrals, and agencies
• Screen candidates to verify qualifications for open roles
• Collaborate with leadership to design or streamline interview processes
• Ensure timely follow-up and closure for interviewed candidates
• Negotiate compensation with qualified candidates
• Enhance recruitment processes through interviewer training
• Leverage Greenhouse to track candidate progress, refresh talent, and maintain clean data
• Ensure an excellent interview experience for all candidates

Key requirements

• 2–5 years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience (in-house or staffing agency)
• Strong sourcing ability to identify where top talent lives
• Autonomous with ability to manage multiple positions concurrently
• Proven selling of value proposition, negotiation, and closing skills
• Sense of urgency across all stages of recruiting
• Ability to navigate changing processes
