Field Tech Analyst -Windows support experience

Overview

In this role you will deliver on-site and remote Windows desktop support for a strategic client, combining strong technical know-how with a high level of customer service. You will install, image, and troubleshoot desktops and notebooks, manage incidents via ServiceNow, and ensure stable workstation performance. You’ll work at a client site, liaising with the customer to resolve technical issues and optimize configurations. This position offers exposure to enterprise Windows environments and a chance to contribute to a high-impact service delivery team.

Responsibilities

• On-site and remote installation, maintenance, and repair of desktops and notebooks
• Windows imaging, deployment, software installation, and troubleshooting
• Liaise with customers on administrative and technical matters
• Provide technical support and incident management via ServiceNow
• Review and optimize Windows desktop configurations (Windows 7/10/11) and peripherals
• Perform basic break-fix for desktops and laptops
• Instruct customers in basic Windows operations
• Handle after-hours calls and maintain effective communication with customers

Key requirements

• 3 years of desktop/technical Windows support experience
• A+ certification or equivalent skill set
• Proficiency with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
• Office 365 support experience
• Strong customer service background
• Ability to follow verbal and written technical instructions and scripts
• Physical ability to lift and move hardware
• Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills
