Head of Engineering – Medical AI Platform & Hardware

Dex is seeking a senior system architect to lead the integration of AI, XR, hardware, and software for a Surgical Intelligence Platform. You will set integration standards, craft API contracts, and drive OEM SDK work with a major scope manufacturer, guiding the team through regulatory and safety challenges.

You will collaborate across AI, XR, hardware, and QA, growing the team from six to 10–12 engineers by year-end while balancing short-term commercial goals with ambitious foundation-model work.
