In this hybrid Manager role, you lead a Private Equity client team delivering fund accounting and administration, ensuring accurate reporting and timely delivery. You manage key stakeholders and drive continuous improvement across workflows, quality, and team development. You oversee governance support, NAV production, and robust controls, while maintaining client relationships and escalating risks early. Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day delivery for Private Equity funds, overseeing accounting and administration outputs in line with SLAs and controls
- Prepare and/or review financial reporting (monthly/quarterly/semi-annual accounts; UK GAAP/IFRS/US GAAP) and coordinate audits
- Oversee NAV production and reconciliations, cash movements, and accruals for accuracy
- Manage client governance requirements: attend Board/Committee meetings, prepare agendas/minutes, track actions
- Maintain high-quality client records and confidential documentation, ensuring data integrity
- Proactively manage client communication and relationships; escalate risks and support business development
- Monitor compliance expectations (AML/KYC) and ensure issues are documented and escalated
- Lead and develop team through coaching, appraisals, workload planning, and inclusive leadership
- Support financial management of client portfolio including time recording, invoicing, and debt oversight
- Drive process improvement across accounting, reporting, and administration workflows
Key requirements
- Professional qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA, ICSA/CGI, STEP) or equivalent experience
- Significant experience in fund administration and fund accounting, ideally with Private Equity
- Working knowledge of fund financial reporting and year-end audits; understanding of UK GAAP/IFRS/US GAAP
- Strong people leadership and ability to plan workload while maintaining service quality
- Clear, professional communication with clients and stakeholders
