Accounts Payable Analyst

Overview

As Accounts Payable Specialist, you ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and expenses within Copper’s fast-paced fintech environment. You will be the link between Finance, Procurement and external suppliers, safeguarding payment accuracy and regulatory compliance. Your work supports cash flow, working capital, and scalable finance operations as Copper grows internationally. You’ll contribute to finance transformation through process improvements and system enhancements, helping the team operate efficiently and reliably. This role offers hands-on impact in a dynamic, collaborative setting with opportunities to shape evolving financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices with correct coding in the ERP system
• Verify employee expenses with supporting documentation
• Reconcile company credit cards across the business
• Support internal and external stakeholders on Accounts Payable matters
• Assist AP Manager with weekly payment runs to ensure timely payments
• Administer company credit cards
• Assist in systems migrations and rollout of new policies and procedures
• Investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly statements
• Reconcile purchase orders to invoices
• Resolve outstanding creditor items promptly
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as needed

Key requirements

• Graduate or previous Accounts Payable experience
• Strong teamwork with ability to work autonomously
• Experience handling high volumes of invoices in a timely manner
• Good Excel skills
• Keen eye for detail and quick learner
• Excellent communication skills
