Overview

As Contracts Manager you will lead on-site project delivery for high-end commercial fit-out schemes in London. You will oversee one major project or up to four smaller projects, ensuring timely, on-budget, defect-free results. You’ll coordinate with main contractors and sub-trades, manage safety on site, and report progress weekly. This role suits someone with a joinery or glazing background who thrives in a busy, client-focused environment and wants to shape delivery in a specialist contractor setting.

Responsibilities

• Run on-site project operations end-to-end
• Provide weekly progress reports to the Main Contractor
• Attend site progress meetings on site and at head office
• Coordinate material deliveries and daily workload of fixers and labourers
• Coordinate works with sub-contractors to ensure fit prior to arrival
• Maintain Health & Safety on site
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and defects-free

Key requirements

• Track record with a reputable contractor
• Joinery or glazing background essential
• Experience in high-end commercial fit-out
• Experience managing multiple projects up to 6m in value
• London-based or able to commute daily
