Overview
In this role you will lead Experian’s global Financial Controls function and drive a major ICFR uplift. You will shape the future operating model for controls, embedding control design into processes and technology while leveraging automation and AI. You will collaborate with Finance, Technology, Risk and other functions to build a modern, tech-enabled controls environment that supports growth and strengthens financial reporting. After the transformation, you will provide strategic leadership for continuous improvement of the ICFR framework. Responsibilities
- Lead and embed a global Financial Controls and ICFR program across the organization
- Drive the design, operation and governance of controls, including a SOX-style regime where relevant
- Lead the uplift of the ICFR controls maturity and operate in partnership with Technology, Risk and other functions
- Leverage automation, analytics and AI to create a scalable, intelligent controls environment
- Collaborate with senior leaders to shape the future operating model for financial controls
- Ensure ongoing effectiveness and continuous improvement of the global control framework
- Oversee cross-functional delivery of the transformation program and translate it into sustainable business impact
Key requirements
- Experience leading a geographically distributed team in a complex global company
- Experience delivering a controls implementation project
- Professional audit/accountancy background and qualifications
- Strong understanding of internal control environments; experience with SOX-regimes beneficial
