Overview

In this role you will manage end-to-end execution of large-scale events, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting technical and safety standards. You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Project Management teams to define requirements and communicate the execution plan. You’ll lead technical teams, manage risks, and maintain client relationships to deliver world-class service. This is a hands-on role with visibility across the client experience, operations, and post-event delivery. You’ll contribute to consistent processes and SOPs that scale with our events and global opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and communicate technical production schedules, scope, and resources to team members, vendors, and venues
  • Determine and secure required resources to complete each project
  • Maintain client focus, manage show documentation, and address client concerns
  • Monitor project scope through planning and adjust to ensure successful completion
  • Assist sales and operations with equipment needs and technical solutions
  • Create technical diagrams when required
  • Review sales documents to ensure equipment/technical fit for client needs
  • Lead technical teams and maintain HSE documentation
  • Act as onsite project leader from load-in to load-out, including inventory management
  • Communicate project plan and client expectations to the event team, manage onsite changes
  • Mentor team members and share best practices
  • Ensure compliance with Technical Standards and Production Standards, and safety requirements
  • Complete post-event reporting, manage workforce hours, and ensure equipment returns
  • Assist in budget creation, analysis, and execution; monitor costs and coordinate with billing
  • Ensure adherence to Encore policies to minimize liability and asset risk

Key requirements

  • 4+ years in technical roles in Corporate Staging or Broadcast
  • 1+ year supervisory experience
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Strong technical background
  • Strong client relationship skills
  • Familiarity with budgets and cost control
  • Operational logistics experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple complex tasks
  • MS Office experience
  • Technical diagram knowledge/experience preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
