Sr. LV Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the delivery of complex Linguistic Validation projects and own the end-to-end client relationship. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-scope, and quality outcomes while safeguarding profitability. You’ll drive process improvements and identify opportunities for account growth, contributing to long-term client retention and expansion. This position sits within RWS Transform, supporting digital transformation and global content scalability.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex Linguistic Validation projects from initiation to delivery
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients with proactive communication
• Coordinate internal and external resources to meet timelines, scope and quality
• Maintain project trackers and complete documentation up-to-date
• Manage budgets, invoicing and change orders to ensure profitability
• Identify and escalate project risks, resource constraints and quality issues
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and clarify responsibilities
• Coach and mentor junior team members
• Identify growth opportunities and contribute to proposals and revenue expansion
• Suggest improvements to processes and localization practices
• Maintain accurate project and client KPI data across systems
• Ensure delivery aligns with client requirements and RWS standards

Key requirements

• 5–7 years of Project Management experience or equivalent
• Experience managing complex projects in a structured, deadline-driven environment
• Strong knowledge of Linguistic Validation processes and stakeholders
• Strong client management and customer service experience with confidence as main client contact
• Experience with budget management, project financials and profitability
• Strong planning, organization and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders
• Ability to identify risks and opportunities for process improvement
• Mentoring junior team members is beneficial
• Degree or qualification in Project Management, Business or related area, or equivalent experience
• Experience with translation management systems, CAT tools and AI-assisted productivity tools is desirable
• PMP certification and fluency in an additional language are advantageous
