Overview

As a Project Manager in Premier Foods’ PBS, you drive business change and transformation across Finance and the wider business. You lead high-profile projects that improve efficiency, controls and performance, partnering with stakeholders to turn strategy into practical solutions. The role reinforces growth within PBS as the company scales towards a 3bn business. You will work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, shaping the future of Financial Operations and Automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business change, transformation and process improvement initiatives from initiation to implementation
  • Deliver projects that boost efficiency, controls, customer experience and performance
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, PBS, IT and the wider business
  • Drive continuous improvement and challenge existing ways of working
  • Support automation, digital transformation and technology-enabled solutions
  • Manage governance, risks, dependencies and delivery plans
  • Act as a Finance workstream lead within larger programmes when required
  • Ensure solutions are embedded and deliver sustainable benefits

Key requirements

  • Proven experience delivering business change, transformation or process improvement projects
  • Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with colleagues at all levels
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical capability
  • Passion for continuous improvement and challenging the status quo
  • Highly organized, resilient and adaptable
  • Experience in Finance, Shared Services or Global Business Services environments; exposure to systems implementations, automation or digital transformation
