Overview
In this role you support capital raising and strategic advisory for clients within Citi’s Institutional Banking team. You work with senior bankers on client transactions, analyze complex financial data, and develop valuation and proposal materials. You perform economic research, build financial models, and assess risk to protect the firm’s reputation and clients. The position offers exposure to high-profile deals in a regulated, performance-driven environment in London. You will contribute to shaping client strategies and deal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assist on client transactions and projects as a junior member of the Investment Banking team
- Organize and analyze sophisticated financial data for proposals and strategic plans
- Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials and exhibits for pitches and live deals
- Conduct economic/financial research
- Evaluate a company’s financial performance against industry trends
- Build complex financial models for valuation purposes
- Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, regulations and firm policies
- Escalate and report control issues with transparency
Key requirements
