Overview
In this role you lead a high‑calibre Contract Services team to deliver strategic procurement and end‑to‑end procurement services for major programmes. You will influence large organisations and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create new service offerings and drive growth. The position offers exposure to sustainable procurement, transformation, renewables, digital procurement and net‑zero strategies, with opportunities to travel and progress toward Chartered Status. You will shape procurement approaches for blue‑chip clients and ensure high standards of delivery.

Responsibilities
- Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients
- Lead and manage end-to-end procurement services on major projects or programmes
- Develop and evolve the procurement services offered by Turner & Townsend
- Build and lead a high-performing team to deliver client outcomes
- Manage client relationships and associated commissions and deliverables
- Support business development and marketing of the Contract Services proposition
- Lead bid preparation and proposal documentation to strengthen work-winning capability
- Support delivery of team and business targets
Key requirements
- Experience in regulated procurement, especially Public Contract Regulations 2015
- Leadership of strategic procurement projects for public and private sector clients
- Strong background in tender preparation, development and management, including negotiation
- Experience in contract forms, especially NEC and JCT
- Cross-sector public procurement background desirable
- MCIPs accreditation: working towards or achieved
- Degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement preferred
- Security clearance (SC) either current or restorable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships
