Overview
In this CFO role you will own the group’s financial strategy and act as a commercial partner to the executive team. You will lead FP&A, controllership, tax, treasury, investor reporting and ESG, shaping the financial narrative for growth and fundraising. You will drive the Series D process end-to-end and build a finance organization across the UK and US. The role combines strategic pricing, GTM input, and a finance transformation including NetSuite. You will report to the CEO and sit with the Chair and investors to support scalable, PE-backed growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead finance functions: FP&A, controllership, tax, treasury, investor reporting and ESG
- Own Series D process end-to-end: data room, modelling, due diligence, negotiation
- Build and develop a finance team of 18 across UK and US
- Partner with CEO and CRO on pricing, unit economics and GTM strategy
- Drive a finance transformation programme (NetSuite in flight)
- Present monthly to the board and quarterly to investors
Key requirements
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with 12+ years post-qualified experience
- Prior CFO or FD experience in PE-backed or VC-backed SaaS/tech
- Demonstrated track record of leading a successful funding round (Series C+ or sale)
- Strong commercial instinct with shaping pricing, GTM or M&A
- First-class people leadership with experience scaling a 15+ person finance team
