Overview

In this role you will lead financial advisory work across complex transport projects, shaping advice for public and private clients. You’ll manage client engagements, contribute to new business and proposals, and help run the Public Services Advisory unit. The position combines project delivery with client-facing leadership in a high-profile infrastructure context. You’ll work across sectors while leveraging transport expertise to drive value and risk management. This is a chance to contribute to major public sector programmes and advance the firm’s advisory agenda.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver financial advisory services across complex projects and transactions
  • Manage allocated assignments in a client-facing role, meeting and exceeding client expectations
  • Own end-to-end delivery of client projects and programmes, with accountability for quality, timelines and financial targets
  • Support business development, including writing proposals and bids, from opportunity identification through to contracting
  • Delegate and coordinate the work of team members and support their development
  • Support management of the business unit, including pipeline and budgets
  • Act with integrity and in line with the firm’s values

Key requirements

  • Experience in the transport sector, either in consultancy supporting government departments, public authorities or private sector entities, or working directly within one of such organisations
  • Experience in either programme management or major contracts procurement
  • Experience managing client engagements and stakeholders
  • Experience supervising or developing junior team members
