Observability Engineer | Electronic Trading Platform
Are you an observability engineer who wants to own and improve services, rather than just maintain them? Would you rather run Kubernetes on bare-metal than click through a cloud console?
Our client is looking for an Observability or Monitoring Engineer to join its small platform engineering team, supporting their business-critical electronic trading platform in London.
What will you do?
Improve and own observability across the platform using Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry, automate away manual processes, and build self-service tooling for engineering and security teams.
What will you need to know?
- A real track record of implementing and improving observability tooling in production
- Solid Kubernetes knowledge, ideally from on-premise or bare-metal environments
- Strong automation skills in Python & Linux, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD
Splunk and trading environment experience are a bonus.
4 days pw in office. £90,000 – £115,000 base (DOE) + bonus + generous benefits.
