Overview

As a Tax professional in Global Tax, you advise Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s front office on tax consequences of alternative investment funds and deals. You will interact with external advisers and internal tax colleagues, contributing to transaction structuring and risk assessment. In a fast-paced, collaborative setting, you shape tax outcomes for cross-border deals and complex investments. Responsibilities

• Advise on tax consequences for alternative investment funds and deals
• Challenge and coordinate input from external advisors
• Liaise with tax colleagues across the firm, especially in the US
• Support transaction management and cross-border structuring activities

Key requirements

• Professionally qualified – Lawyer or ACA/CTA
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification tax experience at a leading firm
• Strong technical UK tax knowledge
• Experience of cross-border transactions and structuring, with knowledge of European and US tax regimes (US experience preferred)
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Flexible and quick learner
