Overview

In this role you will lead the group’s financial reporting, treasury, and governance as a standalone entity within a global finance function. You will partner with senior leadership to provide strategic financial insight, drive control improvements, and manage external audits and regulatory compliance. The position offers scope to shape finance processes across multiple jurisdictions and support acquisition activity. You will operate at the intersection of finance operations and strategic leadership, shaping the group’s financial resilience and reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial statements
  • Oversee consolidation of global results including intercompany eliminations
  • Ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance and maintain robust financial controls and governance
  • Manage external audits and relationships with auditors, advisers, regulators and financial institutions
  • Oversee global cash management, liquidity planning, banking relationships and working capital
  • Lead FX risk management, hedging, taxation compliance and transfer pricing
  • Drive improvements across financial systems, ERP platforms, reporting processes and automation
  • Lead, mentor and develop a global finance team
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insight and strategic guidance
  • Support acquisition integration, restructuring and scalable finance processes
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact; mitigate financial, treasury and tax risks

Key requirements

  • Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent
  • Strong experience in group financial reporting, consolidation and controls
  • Expertise in treasury management, cash flow and working capital
  • Deep understanding of accounting standards and governance requirements
  • Experience leading and developing finance teams
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
