Tax Manager – Reward Advisory Services

Overview

As a Tax Manager in Reward Advisory Services, you will deliver technical reward advice and implement equity and incentive plans for mid-market clients. You’ll work across transactions, bespoke solutions, and various share plan formats while collaborating with Corporate Finance and People teams. You’ll manage client accounts, mentor graduates, and contribute to business development. This role offers flexible working and a chance to shape Reward Advisory in a growing national practice.

Responsibilities

• Advise mid-market clients on highly technical reward matters in practical terms
• Lead design and implementation of equity reward projects and share plans, including tax aspects
• Support on growth shares, cash plans, and buy-side/sell-side transactions
• Develop bespoke client solutions considering wider structuring needs
• Collaborate with other service lines (Corporate Finance, Valuations, People Advisory)
• Manage graduates and trainees and contribute to their development
• Own day-to-day client relationships and account management
• Participate in team business development and go-to-market activities

Key requirements

• Tax experience within Equity Reward
• Professional qualification (CTA / ATT / ACA) or equivalent, or qualified lawyer
• Experience designing and implementing employee incentive plans
• Strong client service record and ability to meet deadlines
• Proactive project management including billing and fee management
• Experience in business development or willingness to develop in that area
• Document drafting/review and/or modelling skills
