Overview
In this role you support Investment Managers within the Private Client team to deliver high-quality client service and drive improvements in the client administration workflow. You’ll engage from onboarding through ongoing maintenance, coordinating with internal teams and external parties to fulfil client requirements. You will handle client queries, AML reviews, and account-related tasks while building trusted relationships. The position offers hybrid work, cross-functional collaboration, and a chance to influence processes in a growing asset management firm.
Responsibilities
- Onboard clients and coordinate account opening with Investment Managers
- Maintain existing client accounts, including AML reviews and record-keeping
- Liaise with third parties on custodial matters and derivative/FX accounts
- Develop and manage ongoing client relationships and respond to inquiries
- Administer client data across internal and external systems
- Coordinate with internal colleagues and external consultants/auditors to meet client needs
- Provide guidance/train junior staff and cover for the Client Administration Team
- Attend client meetings as required
- Support and assist Investment Managers with timely service delivery
Key requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Client Services/Administrator role in asset management
- Sound knowledge of asset management company structure
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to prioritise, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Numerical, analytical, and PC skills
- Knowledge of investment parameters and fee arrangements for discretionary portfolios
- Understanding of investment instruments, corporate actions, and capital gains tax rules
- Industry qualifications such as IOC
