Overview
As a CDM Principal Designer in a London-based consultancy, you will lead multi-million-pound schemes delivering health and safety and design coordination across a diverse portfolio. You will work closely with architects, contractors and developers to ensure compliant, well-documented plans and RAMS. You’ll drive Building Safety Act guidance and ongoing compliance across sites and teams. This role offers exposure to blue-chip clients, a central London base, and opportunities to shape safety standards in a growing practice.

Responsibilities
- Deliver CDM 2015 services across projects
- Act as Principal Designer on multiple schemes
- Conduct site inspections and ensure RAMS are in place
- Oversee and manage design risk registers
- Prepare construction phase plans
- Provide clients with H&S guidance and expertise
- Liaise with architects, contractors, developers and designers
- Identify opportunities to improve compliance
- Deliver Building Safety Act advice and support
Key requirements
- Degree qualified within construction (desirable)
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- Member of IOSH, APS, IIRSM, or similar
- Strong understanding of CDM 2015 Regulations
- Understanding of the Building Safety Act
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Full UK driving licence
