Overview
As Principal Designer at Faculty, you will establish design as a core discipline within Applied AI and lead high-impact work as a senior leader. You will shape design capabilities across product and service design, defining career progression and modern practices. You’ll partner with executive-level clients to translate AI capabilities into real-world business outcomes while building an entrepreneurial design function from the ground up. This role blends strategic client delivery with building and mentoring a design team in a fast-growing, human-centric AI environment.

Responsibilities
- Own and grow the product and service design disciplines at individual and organizational levels within Applied AI
- Lead high-leverage, billable client engagements by guiding deliverables and shaping engagements
- Build influential relationships with client executives across product, technology, and business leadership
- Define talent frameworks for recruitment, progression, and team development
- Collaborate with business development to identify product opportunities and assemble multidisciplinary teams
- Advocate for design’s value to integrate human-centered design into AI-driven products
- Embed modern design practices and drive capability-building across the organization

- Proven leadership in shaping design capabilities and building effective teams in dynamic settings
- Strong consulting craft and client-facing confidence for framing complex problems in enterprise contexts
- Deep expertise in product or service design with emphasis on user experience and architecture
