Overview

As a Strategic Accounts Business , you drive enterprise growth by owning strategic account plans and guiding end-to-end deal progression for key prospects. You will act as a trusted advisor on account strategy, industry trends, and business challenges, using data and AI-driven tools to accelerate sales cycles. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor offerings for large merchants and ensure alignment across the sales process. This is a high-impact role at a fast-growing fintech leader.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategic account plans and end-to-end deal progression for a portfolio of key prospects in collaboration with Enterprise Sales Representatives
  • Serve as methodologies expert and trusted advisor on strategic accounts, including industry insights and market trends
  • Conduct in-depth market and account analysis to generate actionable insights that accelerate sales cycles
  • Leverage AI-driven systems and advanced analytics to optimize lead generation, planning, and pipeline accuracy
  • Nurture and deepen relationships with existing and prospective merchants in collaboration with Sales
  • Influence cross-functional teams (Product, Solutions Engineering, Legal) for aligned onboarding with key merchants
  • Assist senior leadership in shaping tailored solutions and product offerings for each merchant
  • Collaborate daily with the engagement team to ensure alignment across the sales cycle

Key requirements

  • Relevant experience in Enterprise Sales Development, Strategic Account Management, or Consultative B2B Sales, preferably in payments, fintech, banking, or financial services
  • Proven ability to build and sustain deep, multi-stakeholder relationships up to C-suite in a large enterprise
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data/CRM (e.g., Salesforce) for mapping, opportunity identification, and forecasting
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills to articulate complex value propositions
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize shifting workloads
  • Eager to understand and navigate long sales cycles
  • Commercially minded with a deep understanding of issues large accounts face
  • AI-savvy user of enterprise tools and technologies
