Overview
Inizio seeks a senior technology leader to own and evolve the global HR tech stack, with a near-term focus on Workday operations and design. You will bridge HR requirements with technical depth, guiding platform engineering and architecture-led initiatives at scale. The role entails end-to-end IT ownership of Workday and broader HR tech, partnering with HR leadership to deliver sustainable, standards-aligned solutions. You will drive transformation, governance, security, and continuous improvement to enhance reliability and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Workday IT: design, configuration, operations, support, and continuous improvement.
- Translate business HR requirements into scalable Workday solutions aligned with global standards.
- Oversee Workday IT Operations: incidents, changes, releases, service levels, and backlog management.
- Lead HR Technology projects: end-to-end delivery from requirements to BAU transition, ensuring alignment with architecture and roadmap.
- Define technology strategy and multi-year roadmap for HR tech, including platform engineering and governance.
- Establish integration patterns, APIs, data standards, and security controls across HR systems.
- Manage external partners (vendors, SI) and accountability for delivery quality and knowledge transfer.
- Build and lead a multidisciplinary HR Technology team with emphasis on engineering practices and collaboration.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, Data, and IT.
- Act as a senior technology leader across HR and IT and communicate technology strategy to stakeholders.
Key requirements
- Extensive experience leading Workday in a complex enterprise environment (functional design, BAU, enhancements, and project delivery).
- Strong Workday solution-design expertise across HCM processes, configuration, security, reporting, and integrations.
- Proven track record delivering large Workday implementations and HR transformations.
- Deep understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs, middleware, and data connectivity.
- Knowledge of platform engineering practices: testing, deployment, automation, monitoring, and resilience.
