Senior Associate, Capital Markets

Overview

In this role you will manage the Capital Markets and Investment needs of Brookfield’s Bloom Energy partnership from London. You’ll lead financing, refinancing and hedging activities, and oversee tax equity and contract analyses to support the $5B+ partnership and potential expansion. You work closely with legal, lenders and Brookfield leadership to structure, fund and optimize deals in the infrastructure and energy space. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that shapes the partnership’s financial framework and growth trajectory.

Responsibilities

• Lead new financing initiatives and upsizing or standalone facilities
• Oversee capital markets refinancing of contracts at COD and implement hedging strategy
• Manage ITC monetisation and tax equity processes
• Analyze new contracts and liaise with legal counsel and lenders for financing compatibility
• Support expansion of the Partnership Agreement with Bloom and co-invest processes
• Maintain and source debt lenders; manage MSA and lender models
• Handle waiver/amendment requests and ad hoc deal-related projects
• Integral involvement in deal structuring, execution, and investor relations

Key requirements

• 6+ years in investment banking (debt advisory or capital markets), private credit, direct lending, or similar
• Direct experience in origination, structuring and execution of debt transactions in infrastructure and energy
• Experience leading a US energy finance transaction including tax equity structures
• Team-oriented with track record of collaboration
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proactive, resilient under pressure and able to brief senior management
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Significant transactional experience and familiarity with debt documentation and funding
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
