APIGEE Consultant – London – UK

Overview

In this role you lead API platform initiatives for enterprise clients, focusing on Apigee Edge, Hybrid, and X. You combine architectural leadership with hands-on delivery to modernize APIs and migrate platforms. You’ll run client workshops, shape governance and security standards, and guide cloud-native API and DevOps practices. This is a client-facing position with impact across architecture, delivery, and strategic API initiatives, within a collaborative, innovation-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead Apigee Hybrid/X setup across Dev/Test/Prod environments
• Drive API migration from Apigee Edge to Apigee Hybrid/X
• Lead client workshops, architecture discussions, and design reviews
• Define API governance, security standards, and best practices
• Guide client teams through cloud-native API, DevOps, and operational models

Key requirements

• Rich experience in API Management / Integration Architecture
• Strong hands-on experience with Apigee Edge and Apigee Hybrid/X
• Proven experience in Edge to Hybrid/X migrations
• Knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenAPI
• Cloud experience (GCP preferred) and Kubernetes/GKE exposure
• Excellent client communication and consulting skills
