Overview
In this role you will uphold Knight Frank’s UK compliance and risk program from the Head Office in Baker Street. You will develop and maintain controls, monitor regulatory changes, and promote a strong compliance culture across the business. You will lead risk assessments, manage the risk register, and report to senior governance bodies. The position offers visibility into governance, regulatory strategy, and ISO standards, with a focus on practical, cross‑functional impact.

Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to applicable UK legislation and regulations with effective controls
- Identify and assess emerging regulation, collaborating with Risk SMEs to implement changes
- Develop and maintain Compliance Risk Assessment and support Internal Controls Framework
- Maintain corporate risk register and assist leaders in risk evaluation
- Produce risk reports and dashboards for senior management
- Monitor KRIs and escalate significant risk events
- Track mitigation actions and ensure timely closures
- Produce UK compliance MI and drive remedial actions
- Line manage Residential Compliance Advisor and provide guidance
- Assist Compliance Advisors with complaint responses when needed
- Oversee LLP regulatory registrations and timely filing of annual returns
- Lead UK compliance investigations with thorough documentation and reporting
- Maintain ISO standards compliance including audits and certification
- Promote UK Compliance through training and clear communication
Key requirements
- Strong knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks, preferably in property
- Experience in compliance management in a regulated environment
- Ability to interpret and implement legislation changes
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
- Familiarity with ISO standards and audit processes
- Degree in Law, Risk Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
