In this role, you will manage UK payrolls for multiple multinational clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance. You will support Payroll Associates, validate input and output data, and address discrepancies to maintain payroll excellence. You’ll collaborate across teams to resolve queries and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Responsibilities

  • Process multiple UK payrolls accurately, on time, and in line with client and statutory requirements
  • Provide support and subject matter expertise to Payroll Associates as needed
  • Review and validate payroll input and output data to ensure accuracy
  • Investigate discrepancies and correct payroll errors before final processing
  • Respond to payroll queries from internal teams and clients via ticketing and email systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing payroll processes and contribute to solution development
  • Act as a backup to senior payroll team members during their absence to ensure continuity of service

Key requirements

  • Sound knowledge of UK end-to-end payroll processing, including statutory regulations and reporting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and email platforms
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, timely payrolls
  • Comfortable prioritizing multiple payrolls and managing workload effectively
  • Confident communicator, capable of building relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Previous experience in a payroll bureau environment is beneficial but not essential
