Payroll Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll changes including starters, leavers, contractual changes, absences, and statutory payments.
- Support payroll accuracy through regular checks and reporting.
- Assist with employee onboarding and HR administration.
- Manage payroll-related records, reconciliations, pensions, and third-party payments.
- Respond to payroll and employee queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Identify and implement process improvements where possible.
About You
- Previous payroll administration experience, ideally within an in-house payroll or HR environment.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Confident communicator who can build relationships across the business.
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling confidential information.
- Payroll qualification (or working towards one) would be advantageous but is not essential.

- Around 2+ years’ payroll or administrative experience.
- Strong IT and systems skills.
- A track record of delivering excellent customer service.
