Overview
In Bristol, take a lead role in delivering a diverse mix of transport planning projects for private and public sector clients. You will shape transport and parking strategies, support development proposals through the planning process, and contribute to business development and mentoring within a collaborative team. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a diverse range of project types from client liaison to financial and quality management
- Oversee multiple projects and mentor team members in delivery
- Support senior staff and contribute to business development and commercial skills
- Foster people management responsibilities and act as a helpful mentor
- Develop transport and parking strategies and support with expert witness evidence where needed
Key requirements
- Chartered status in a transport-related field
- Extensive technical knowledge and practical experience
- Experience developing Transport Strategies, Infrastructure Delivery Plans, and parking strategies
- Ability to delegate resources, manage tight deadlines, and maintain client liaison
- Expertise in access strategy work, parking strategies, and sustainable transport
- Familiarity with S106 and S278 agreements, NPPF, and DfT Transport Assessment guidelines
- Proficiency in junction capacity modelling software (Junctions 10, Linsig)
- Skills in designing junctions and preparing traffic flow information for Transport Assessments
