Overview

As a Project Planner at EDF power solutions, you will shape the delivery of renewable energy projects from development to construction. You will work within the Project Management Office to create, maintain and harmonize plans, enabling informed decisions and reliable performance reporting. You’ll collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to drive on-time delivery while contributing to planning standards and continuous improvement. This role supports EDF’s net-zero ambitions and the goal of delivering 10 GW of low-carbon energy by 2035.

Responsibilities

  • Create, develop and maintain project plans across multiple renewable technologies
  • Establish baselines and monitor progress against milestones
  • Support project and portfolio reporting and governance
  • Identify planning risks and opportunities through regular reviews
  • Coordinate planning activities with stakeholders across the business
  • Develop and improve planning templates and templates based on lessons learned
  • Maintain cost and resource-loaded schedules to support delivery
  • Provide planning expertise across a portfolio of renewable energy projects
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and tools

Key requirements

  • Experience in project planning from development through construction in renewables
  • Experience developing, coordinating and maintaining project plans in a PMO environment
  • Knowledge of baselining, milestone tracking and project reporting
  • Experience managing cost and resource-loaded project plans
  • Experience using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
