Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements for clients across multiple sectors
- Plan assignments, identify key risks, and ensure compliance with auditing standards
- Review audit files, financial statements, and supporting documentation
- Supervise, train, and review the work of audit staff
- Act as a key client contact throughout the audit process
- Support workflow planning, team organisation, and continuous improvement
- Contribute to advisory projects including due diligence, internal controls, and technical accounting matters
Key requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Minimum 5 years’ PQE in audit within an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks; IFRS knowledge advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with MyWorkPapers or similar audit software
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities effectively
