Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements from planning to completion and mentor the audit team
- Manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients across industries
- Plan, execute, and finalise audits in line with standards
- Act as primary client contact and manage relationships
- Review work and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards
- Support Directors and Partners in business development and proposals
- Coach junior team members and identify value-adding opportunities
- Contribute to evolution of audit methodology and quality standards
Key requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
- 3–5 years’ audit experience, with some management responsibility
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and auditing standards
- Proven ability to manage audit engagements and client relationships
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Team-first attitude with mentoring passion
- Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to firm initiatives
