Procurement & Supply Chain Manager

Overview

As Procurement & Supply Chain Manager, you will lead procurement and supply chain operations across multiple legal entities within a growing UK renewables group. You will shape product strategy, manage supplier partnerships, and ensure efficient inventory planning to support cross-functional demand. You will standardise purchasing processes, mitigate supply risks, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. This role offers high impact in supporting growth initiatives, including new commercial opportunities in energy storage and EV infrastructure. You will work closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance to align capabilities with demand and drive sustained value.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement across multiple entities with supplier strategy, pricing, credit terms, and contracts
• Own end-to-end supply chain operations including inventory planning, warehousing, and regional distribution
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity and minimal disruption
• Utilise ERP data and forecasts to optimise stock and drive efficiency
• Design and implement a group-wide purchase order process across entities
• Centralise supplier ordering and enforce pricing and term compliance
• Ensure procurement discipline across regional teams and reduce ad-hoc purchasing
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to align supply chain with business demand
• Support growth initiatives including acquisition integration and new opportunities (e.g., BESS, solar PV, heat pumps, EV infrastructure)

Key requirements

• Minimum 2+ years in supply chain, procurement, or commercially focused role with supplier negotiation
• Experience in contract management and commercial negotiations for favourable terms
• Strong ability to manage complex supplier relationships, analyse data, and present insights to senior stakeholders
