Overview
In this role you will drive automation and modernize deployment practices for the TAROT platform within our risk and capital optimization technology group in London. You will design and support enterprise-grade DevOps capabilities, build CI/CD pipelines, promote IaC, and ensure security, scalability, and resilience across regulated financial services applications. You will collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to improve delivery and release quality. Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain enterprise-grade DevOps frameworks
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, deployment and release
- Promote Infrastructure as Code and automation-first approaches
- Automate operational processes and environment provisioning
- Improve software delivery lifecycle, deployment frequency and release quality
- Manage source code repositories, branching strategies and release processes
- Support application versioning, release governance and deployment planning across environments
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure consistent standards
- Support multiple environments (dev, test, UAT, prod) and ensure platform stability and performance
- Monitor platform health and optimize or improve where needed
- Support disaster recovery, resilience and business continuity
- Work with infra, cloud and security teams to ensure secure, scalable and compliant platforms
- Manage Windows Server environments and IIS-hosted applications
- Troubleshoot infra, deployment and performance issues; support capacity planning and tuning
- Embed security controls and DevSecOps practices in the SDLC
- Ensure adherence to enterprise standards and risk controls
- Collaborate with cybersecurity to improve security automation and monitoring
- Mentor junior engineers; contribute to architecture discussions and platform modernization
- Act as SME for DevOps tooling, automation and operational support
Key requirements
- Significant experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or SRE role
- Proven experience designing and maintaining enterprise CI/CD pipelines
- Experience supporting business-critical applications in production
- Strong experience in financial services or other regulated industries is highly desirable
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment frameworks
- Extensive knowledge of source control systems and repository management
- Strong Windows Server administration experience
- Strong Microsoft technology stack expertise
- Hands-on experience administering and supporting IIS
- Experience with release management, deployment automation, and SDLC management
- Strong troubleshooting and operational support capabilities
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance management tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
