As Electrical Project Manager, you will drive the end-to-end delivery of electrical work packages from pre-construction through handover, ensuring on-time, safe, and high-quality outcomes. You will coordinate with design, planning, procurement and site teams to keep programmes, costs and safety on track while maintaining strong client and consultant relationships. Responsibilities
- Manage electrical project delivery from pre-construction through installation, commissioning and handover
- Develop and maintain delivery programmes, short-term plans and procurement schedules
- Coordinate design information, technical submittals, RFIs and builder’s-work requirements
- Manage subcontractors, supervisors and direct labour with clear safety, quality and productivity expectations
- Monitor progress, cost, risk and change with escalation and recovery actions
- Lead client, consultant and subcontractor meetings with clear action tracking
- Ensure materials, plant and specialist resources align with programme requirements
- Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, O&M information and practical completion
- Support valuations, variations and financial performance with commercial colleagues
Key requirements
- Proven experience managing electrical packages on construction or engineering projects
- Strong understanding of design coordination, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning
- Confident leading subcontractors and communicating with clients, consultants and project teams
- Relevant technical qualification or trade background, plus strong site-delivery experience
