Maritime Accident Investigator – Naval Architect

Department for Transport, through the MAIB, seeks an Inspector of Marine Accidents (Naval Architect) in Southampton. The role leads investigations, gathers and analyzes evidence, interviews witnesses, and produces reports with recommendations.

It involves worldwide deployments and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to improve safety at sea. You will provide specialist naval architecture input, draft safety bulletins, and present findings externally.
