This Cylinder Driver – Class 2 ADR Driver – Stoney Stant position with Manpower UK is based in Hinckley on a temporary contract. Working Monday to Friday, roughly 6am to 3pm, with occasional Saturdays on a rota, the role involves delivering cylinders while maintaining safe, professional standards and strong customer service.

Pay & Benefits

  • Pay starts at £17.13 hourly for a guaranteed 42.5-hour week, rising to £25.70 for overtime and weekend shifts, all PAYE.

  • Competitive Pay: Earn £17.13 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of £25.70 Weekends paid at £25.70 Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.

  • Flexible Shifts: Monday to Friday with some Saturdays on a rota basis in busy times. The hours of work will be around the hours of 6am – 3pm. Some overtime is required.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ensuring safe and professional operations in line with client standards.
  • Multi drop deliveries of Gas cylinders
  • Manual handling of Gas cylinders

Requirements

  • Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card, DCPC card ADR licence in class 2 in packages
  • Familiarity with drivers” hours legislation and tachographs.
  • Successful candidates require a DBS check.
  • Details: New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant licences will be considered The role is due to start immediately and will run until April 2027 when it will be reviewed
  • For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
