Overview
As Learning and Development Manager, you will lead technical capability programs across AI-native engineering, Data Science and Data Engineering, Software Engineering and early careers. You will design and deliver global learning journeys, manage platforms, and partner with engineering leaders and SMEs to demonstrate capability growth through practical application. You’ll drive AI fluency and shape graduate readiness at scale across North America, India and Europe. This role supports a mission to build future-ready technical talent within a collaborative, quality-driven team.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical capability programs from design to delivery, assessment and rollout across AI Engineering, Data Science and Early Careers
- Partner with technology leaders and SMEs to translate capability needs into effective learning solutions
- Drive adoption of the AI Fluency Framework by crafting learning pathways and development experiences
- Own assessment and certification approaches to evidence capability through practical outcomes
- Contribute to graduate capability strategy, including demand planning and delivery of technical bootcamps
- Manage learning platforms and resources for a high-quality learner experience
- Oversee external learning partners to maintain delivery quality and standards
- Establish measurement frameworks and reporting on capability growth, engagement, adoption and program effectiveness
Key requirements
- Experience designing and delivering engaging technical learning programs in a global tech environment with content creation across digital, written and blended formats
- Ability to diagnose capability gaps and distinguish learning needs from process or tooling issues
- Credibility with technical audiences and understanding of software engineering, data, GenAI technologies and AI tool application in engineering
- Experience developing graduate or early-career talent programs that accelerate readiness and productivity
- Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders, SMEs and business partners
- Skilled facilitator adaptable to audience needs and able to measure learning adoption and impact via data
- Experience managing external learning providers to ensure quality delivery
- Experience with Workday Learning or similar LMS/LXP platforms
- Understanding of apprenticeship levy funding and other external learning routes
- Formal L&D, instructional design or learning professional qualification
