Fabrications project engineer

Overview

In this role you drive projects in a clean, purpose-built fabrication environment, delivering complex weldments from concept to delivery. You’ll work closely with the shop floor and internal teams to secure on-time, on-budget outcomes and develop manufacturing routes. This position suits someone who can read drawings, coordinate resources, and push continuous improvement across fabrication processes. A hands-on, cross-functional role with impact on customer delivery and fabrication quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and budget alignment
• Create manufacturing route cards to determine optimal fabrication methods
• Coordinate with internal departments and external resources as needed
• Interpret manufacturing drawings and specifications to break out operations
• Liaise with shop floor and stakeholders to drive project progress

Key requirements

• Knowledge of fabrication processes and welding
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Competence in Microsoft Office packages
