Overview

As a Senior Compliance Analyst in our Financial Crime team, you will lead end-to-end due diligence on partners and customers to keep our growing network compliant across jurisdictions. You’ll work closely with onboarding, risk, and operations to ensure investigations and monitoring are audit-ready and aligned with AML, sanctions, and regulatory rules. You’ll assess complex counterparty structures, rate risk, and escalate where needed, while helping scale our compliance tooling and processes. This role offers impact at a global fintech scale, shaping how we responsibly expand remittance and payment services.

Responsibilities

  • Own partner and customer due diligence from onboarding to offboarding
  • Conduct due diligence on counterparties and assess complex corporate structures
  • Identify and rate AML, sanctions, PEP, and reputational risks
  • Manage trading/brokerage customer lifecycle in line with policy and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate multi-round due diligence with partners and external counterparties
  • Support payout partner onboarding, vendor due diligence, and bank refreshes
  • Produce audit-ready documentation meeting QA standards
  • Liaise with Risk, Legal, Operations, Product and external partners to resolve queries
  • Contribute to process improvements and scaling of tooling and workflows (AiPrise)

Key requirements

  • 3+ years in compliance, due diligence, or financial crime in a regulated institution (fintech, payments, remittance preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of KYB/KYC, AML, sanctions frameworks, and PEP screening
  • Experience assessing complex counterparty structures and fund flows with clear risk ratings
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality, audit-ready case documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet SLA targets
  • Professional communication with partners and internal stakeholders
  • Familiarity with compliance tooling (transaction monitoring, sanction screening, KYB platforms); AiPrise experience a plus
  • Attention to detail and ability to defend risk assessments
  • English proficiency; additional languages a bonus
