Senior Engineer, Clinical Software

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer in Waters’ Clinical Systems Development, you will build software for clinical and IVD systems partnering with a cross-functional team. You’ll contribute across the stack with C#/.NET, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python, delivering scalable, secure solutions. You’ll apply SOLID, TDD, and CI/CD to maintain quality and drive improvements. You’ll collaborate with QA, evaluators, and stakeholders to shape robust clinical software while growing the team’s capabilities. Responsibilities

• Develop maintainable, scalable code using C#/.NET, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python
• Apply SOLID principles, TDD, and CI/CD practices
• Collaborate with QA engineers and evaluators to ensure high-quality outputs
• Own technical challenges and contribute to effective solutions
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support continuous integration and delivery frameworks
• Foster team growth and continuous improvement in Agile/Kanban environments

Key requirements

• Proven experience with C#, .NET, Angular (or similar), TypeScript, and Python
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices: TDD, Unit Testing, CI/CD, and SOLID principles
• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience
