Location: Louth

Salary: £45,000 per annum (£21.63 per hour)

Contract: Temporary ongoing – potential of temp to perm

Shifts: Rotating Days & Afternoons

Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Louth for a skilled engineer to join their engineering team on a temporary contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you’ll be responsible for keeping production running efficiently through planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and continuous improvement activities.

The Role

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and control system faults.
• Working closely with production to minimise downtime.
• Recording maintenance work using the maintenance management system.
• Conducting root cause analysis to reduce recurring breakdowns.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
• Supporting engineering projects and managing contractors where required.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with PLCs, motors, pumps, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Knowledge of CMMS or maintenance management systems.
• Mitsubishi PLC and steam generation experience would be advantageous.
• A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3/4, HNC/HND or equivalent).
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
