Overview
In this role you will harness data to support the programme sponsor community in wastewater and water. You will translate data into actionable insights that inform regulatory commitments and business decisions, working with cross-functional sponsors. You’ll build dashboards and reports to monitor performance, identify risks, and prioritise initiatives. This is a chance to shape data-driven sponsorship delivery within a leading utility, contributing to regulatory alignment and sustainable service delivery.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with programme sponsors to understand analytical needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
- Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations to monitor programme performance and outcomes.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities supporting prioritisation and business case development.
- Communicate findings to stakeholders, provide training on analytical tools, and support regulatory reporting and issue resolution through data insights.
Key requirements
- Degree or equivalent in a numerate or technical discipline (or relevant experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Strong data handling skills to interpret and present meaningful insights.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including financial analysis techniques (Best Value, Cost Benefit Assessments).
- Effective communication at all levels and ability to challenge assumptions while ensuring accuracy.
