Overview

As Manager in HR M&A Transactions, you will lead people-focused M&A and restructuring engagements, guiding delivery teams and acting as a trusted advisor. You’ll run key HR workstreams across the deal lifecycle, shaping people-led transformation to maximise value. You’ll contribute to client proposals and EY’s market position while ensuring QRM compliance. You’ll coach the HR M&A team and foster a high-performance, collaborative culture. This role offers impact across deals, transformation, and advisory excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex HR M&A engagements across the full deal lifecycle (Due Diligence, Sell & Separate, Buy & Integrate)
  • Shape and deliver people-led transformation programmes to enhance performance and deal value
  • Prepare high-quality RFP responses and client proposals
  • Ensure EY QRM compliance from client acceptance to programme close
  • Build and maintain trusted client and internal EY stakeholder relationships
  • Uphold quality, risk and commercial standards across engagements
  • Contribute to strengthening EY’s reputation as a trusted HR M&A advisor
  • Coach and mentor within the HR M&A team
  • Drive capability development and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture
  • Support go-to-market initiatives and development of client propositions and EY tools

Key requirements

  • Experience in HR M&A, HR transformation, restructuring and people consulting
  • Proven ability to lead complex HR workstreams domestically and internationally
  • Strong stakeholder management and senior client leadership engagement
  • Analytical, with structured communication and high-impact presentation skills
  • Desirable: experience in buy-side and sell-side transactions, and relevant HR qualifications or degree
