PrioryHospital Bristol has an opportunity for a Registered Mental HealthNurse with an active NMC Registration to join our team on the malePICU ward. 

You will be working on the MalePICU ward. Our PICU services have been designed to support peoplein a severe phase of illness who cannot be managed in acuteservices. Our dedicated PICU services place us at the forefront ofspecialised intensive care, and our highly trained teams cansupport people with complex needs and challenging behaviours, alongwith co-existing issues (such as substancemisuse).

  Located 5 minutes away fromBristol Parkway train station and 10 minutes away from BristolTemple Meads train station. Nearby motorway network, providingaccess to the South West, Wales andLondon.

We are seeking acompassionate and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) tojoin our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality,person-centred care by assessing, planning, delivering, andevaluating individualised care plans while acting as the patient’snamed nurse. You will work collaboratively with themultidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, andrecovery-focused care, responding proactively to changes inpatients’ needs and supporting their families and carers. Thesuccessful candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical judgement,communication, and leadership skills, prioritising and delegatingworkload effectively while maintaining compliance withsafeguarding, medicines management, the Mental Capacity Act, theNMC Code, and organisational policies. You will also be committedto continuous professional development, clinical supervision,reflective practice, and supporting newly qualified staff throughpreceptorship. Applicants must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse(RMN) with active NMC registration, completed preceptorship, 6–12months of post-registration experience, and a commitment todelivering high-quality, compassionate mental health care.
