Overview
In this role, you drive the fraud and client behavior monitoring program within TxB’s risk team, shaping analytics, models, rules, and reporting. You will optimize monitoring tools, stay ahead on industry trends, and support regional 1 LoD risk topics from an EMEA base. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and operations to embed monitoring requirements into new offerings. The role combines analytics, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen digital-first payments across regions. This is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you help operationalize AI and data enrichments to detect unusual behavior and protect clients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert for transaction monitoring analytics, risk models, rules, and reporting
- Contribute to fraud risk model and client expected behavior monitoring strategy across major payment categories
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues in predictive/analytical monitoring models
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to roadmap transaction monitoring capabilities
- Build strong relationships with product, engineering, operations, legal, and compliance to embed monitoring requirements
- Maintain external knowledge of industry trends, tools, and emerging threats related to fraud risk
- Manage multiple tasks with sound prioritization and establish trusted partnerships with peers and executives
- Update and maintain team process documentation and best practices
- Demonstrate exceptional analytical skills to deliver creative, commercial solutions
- Operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Key requirements
- 5+ years of experience in transaction monitoring strategy, product management, analytics or operations
- Payment expertise in ACH, wires, real time payments, deposits, lending, cards, etc.
- Strong program and project management, experience in agile environments
- Ability to lead cross-regional teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills
- Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated
