Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer | Kirkcaldy | £16 p/h

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair breakdowns
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on forklifts and plant equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, diesal and gas related faults
• Carry out basic electrical fault finding where required
• Work independently and react efficiently to breakdowns and changing priorities
• Travel to sites across Scotland, with OT/time in leiu available for longer-distance jobs

Person Specificatfion:

• Background in mechanical, plant hire, forklift, agricultural or similar engineering background
• A full UK drivers license
• A flexible and reactive approach to work
• Good communication skills
• HGV License desirable

• Company vehicle, fuel card, mobile and PPE provided.
