We are currently seeking to recruit a confident and engaging Retail Security Officer to join our team in York. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an effective retail security presence and helping to maintain a safe, secure, professional, and customer-focused environment.
Key duties include conducting regular indoor and outdoor patrols to deter theft, prevent loss, and support the safety of colleagues and customers.Candidates must be physically able and willing to perform regular indoor and outdoor patrols.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Retail security experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- A good command of spoken and written English
- Confidence using a radio
- A confident, engaging, and professional manner
What you’ll receive:
- Competitive pay of £13.00 – £13.50 per hour
- Zero-hour contract with 16–40 hours per week
- Increased hours during the festive period
