Overview
In this role you drive deployment projects for the AMZL network from UK/IE, shaping automation and MHE retrofit initiatives. You lead cross-functional programs, balance budget and timelines, and deliver high-impact engineering solutions to delivery stations. You collaborate with senior leaders to optimize trade-offs and standardize approaches across regions. This role offers a hands-on, ownership-driven path to influence how Amazon expands its logistics capability.

Responsibilities
- Manage highly complex deployment projects for AMZL delivery stations across UK/IE
- Own programs related to launches or retrofits of automation, MHE, and building improvements
- Lead full project lifecycle from concept to handover to stakeholders
- Handle project phases with resource, capex, and timeline constraints
- Interact with senior management to provide trade-off solutions
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive standardization improvements across country/European level
Key requirements
- Experience with automated or non-automated material handling equipment
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering
- Preferred: Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineering tools
